How does the Cosmelan Treatment work?
The Cosmelan Depigmentation Treatment involves two phases.
Phase 1: For professional use only. First phase include pre-peel and Cosmelan Mask - Peel in our Centre.
Getting a Cosmelan Peel is relatively quick and painless, and there is no preparation required. If you have been using any skin treatments such as those that include glycolic acid, your MyPB skincare expert may recommend stopping them for a week prior to the application of the peel. The mask contains Azelaic Acid, Kojic Acid, Phytic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Arbutine, and Titanium Dioxide.
Once the mask has been applied you can return home, but you must avoid exposure to sources of light and heat. The mask should remain on the face for 6-12 hours, but the total amount of time depends on your skin type and the amount of hyperpigmentation being treated.
Phase 2 - At home maintenance After the application of the Cosmelan Mask in the centre, the mesoestetic Cosmelan 2 maintenance cream is applied daily.
The treatment should be rigorously complemented with daily use of mesoestetic Complete Moisturizing Sun Block and Hydra Vital Factor K Cream.
